Even In The Smallest Places Design Exists!

Design comes in many different ways. Other than just drawing, advertisements, and clothing, there are minor designs that many do not take the time to look over and notice. For one, nails are usually not noticed right when you first walk past a person or see them, but after entering the art world, I began to notice small designs and details in everything around me. As I was doing my nails tonight, I realized that my nail painting and small designs on them were appropriate to relate to the design topic. Even the most simplistic design on a nail, like french manicures or painting nails a solid color are considered designs. With just a simple design like a french tip manicure, it still went through a process of brainstorming before painting it on. Usually, people do not wear their nailpolish designs and decals for one day, but for a week or more. Therefore the idea of what to place on the nail has to be well-thought out just like any other inventions or design products out there. Putting thought onto how something will turn out makes the piece of work: art. Although this picture is not as clear, you can see that the ring finger has a yellow and silver design with neon orange french manicure tips using L.A. Colors nail polish. After that, I placed a top coat of OPI Anniversary nail polish that added glitter and sparkles to top off the design. The design of my nails are really simple, but even simplicity in the smallest places are where little design ideas blossom into masterpieces.
